Getting Started with Klap AI: A Beginner’s Guide
So step number one on how to use klap AI is to essentially just come to the home page here and paste a link from your video into this bar right here. It says paste link or drop a file. This is three D print dude.
Choosing the Right Video
This this is my latest video right here and I feel like it has kind of like a viral worthy like you got to kind of be careful. So what these tools do is they look at your long-form videos and they create short form vertical reels right. But you kind of gotta be picky with what style of video you’re using. So this is a listicle type video and I feel like this would do really well in vertical reels because I sit there and list this type of three D print. That type of three D print. These are the best, most fun three D prints for kids. So the next step is to just copy the link of your video right here. If I copy this link right here up here in the browser bar, then I go over back to klap AI.
How to Generate Short Videos
All I have to do next is paste this link so right click and paste, and this is going to prompt up a menu in which I can choose what type of captions I want. Let’s just go with these normal classic ones. I kind of like that. The duration and then advanced. You can take out emojis, you don’t even have to do captions you can crop it to fit. There’s a lot of cool like customizations on your reels that you can be doing. Then all you have to do is click on, generate shorts click. Then you give the tool a little bit of time to allow it to use AI to create your reels. And again this tool is very comparable to like Opus Clip except klap. Ai is just like an alternative and it works pretty well all right. So let’s click on our project here all right.
Reviewing the Results
That has that was four minutes and 39 seconds long, so that’s pretty cool right. So let’s have a look at what these look like. Let’s click play here. Number one on the list is this articulated spider? This thing is enough to, so they look really good like this. It’s a minute 12. It has to be a minute, but this 1. 17 seconds. Let’s give this one a look. Number 14 in the list is the axolotl. This articulates in all different directions. It just it’s a cool. What I really like about it is, you know, if I go to Opus Clip and compare it to the Opus Clip.
Comparing with Opus Clip
Reels if I log in here. And I go to my dashboard. What I did was I did a cross comparison of these two videos. I ran the same video, and then I had it make clips for the same video, and as you can see here, what Opus Clip does is it makes the reels kind of fit within the vertical. Re. Slot orientation. But what I like about klap is that it fits the entire reel as I click play here, see it fits the entire reel of that vertical space and it looks really cool. Whereas Op clip if I click, play here. Number 14 is the see how it like shrunk the video. It does look a little bit better in some scenarios, but I like how klap did that and what you could do is just use both of these tools like klap and Opus Clip and there’s a couple others and you could just be using these tools to create all your vertical reels. Let’s scroll down a little bit here. Let’s see how this one looks. Ten is the large artulated octopus. This has long art, yeah, and they klap ai did tell us you know if your reels kind of cut out a little bit, that’s because it’s just in the previewer and it’s not going to be if you actually export your video.
Editing and Customizing
So let’s go into the edit section. what we can edit, so if I come on over here again. I can change the look of the captions, which is really cool. I can change the highlight section, i can change all the colors. What’s really cool is this kind of? Has a? What’s this? Oh, it just adds like a text overlay here. I can edit that. So if I click on edit. I can just say this is text overlay. Then click ok, and that’s what it’s going to say. So on top of your captions, it can also do that. Oh, that’s cool. You can add there that you can delete all the emojis. Um, all the emojis, you can click on these and you can edit them by just clicking in here and editing the actual text. So as you can see learning how to use klap. Ai is extremely easy. This tutorial like it’s not even hard because like you just have to get in here and start clicking on things. And you realize how easy this dashboard is to use and I can edit the scenes i can like highlight it. And I can move it around. I can add captions. Custom captions. I can add styles. There’s a lot we can be doing here, so let’s compare to the Opus Clip editor. So if I click in here and then click edit clip, it’s the same type of thing.
Why Use Klap AI and Opus Clip Together?
You know it’s a close comparison to like, what I like more is it Opus Clip or is it klap? I honestly think you should be using both. That’s what using all of these because like I don’t have to pay a video editor and for the price that these tools put out reels. I just keep publishing them and just keep growing. Additional Features
One thing that’s really cool about Opus is it actually has a built-in scheduler which a lot of people like. It’s a new feature. You can also add AI voiceovers in in Opus right now, which is pretty cool to schedule a post. All you have to do on each reel is just click, share and then add your social account. Then you can just schedule it in there. I don’t do that just because it’s so easy to just get into youtube or all of these other tools and just schedule it a lot of times. I’ll use Metro Coolol and publish the same reel across all four same all four social platforms. Metro Cool is like 20 bucks a month and it’s like my favorite social media tool on the plan. It’s so cheap. It’s got scheduling analytics built in everything. I absolutely love it.
