How to Get Started with janitor ai​: A Step-by-Step Guide

Recently I discovered janitor ai​. It is a fantastic tool that lets you create fictional chat to characters with different personalities. Imagine chatting with Spider-many. Stceacy or even your favorite game characters like Leon Ghost and others. With the help of Generative AI and guess what you can integrate these chat bots in your own apps if you are a developer so let’s see how to use Jaittor AI for free to get started.

Registering on janitor ai​

First you need to visit their website and register on it but before registering make sure that you are 18 plus because there is a lot of NSW content here. So make sure you are 18 Plus. And then you can register with your Google account or any other alternative like Twitter or Discord.

Creating Your Profile

On successful registration you will be asked to enter your name, username about me and appearance. This appearance section is useful. Anything you write here will be given as the input to the chat bot you are chatting with to know about your character. So if you want you can write something here and after you have created your profile you are ready to chat with all these chatboards that have been created by janitor ai​ community.

Selecting a Character

So let’s select a character i will go with Lisa for those who don’t know lisa is a game character from Gene Impact game. After you select a character you will see this page profile picture of the character and information about the character. In character definition you can see the tokens that are used to create this character like personality tokens and in the first message that will be given by this chat bot. So click on chat with Lisa to start chatting with this chat bot. But we are still not ready to chat with this chat bot as you can see your API not ready.

Setting Up API for Chatting

As all this chat bot uses Generative AI to chat. Since this platform does not their own AI models, we need to set up an API to communicate with other generative AI models. For that, there are two options here. The first one is openai that is our chat GPY and the second one is Cobra Air which is completely free. But for that I guess you need to install it on your own device. So if you go with openai you get two options. First one is openai API key and then the diverse proxy. We will talk about this letter.

Changing the Jailbreak Prompt

So what I did is I simply copied the text of the whole message and then pasted it in the notepad and then copied the link and then simply paste it here and now if I will click on check proxy you see Valued API proxy click save settings and you can start chatting with the bot and now you are ready to chat with the bots for free. So let’s ask Lisa, how is she anyway? These API requests are not unlimited. If you get inside the bot channel and type slash info you will see your credit. Right now I’ve got 249.3 eight credits and as a supporter of the API you can also get extra credits per day.

Checking Daily Free Credits

Creating Your Own Custom Character

At the beginning of this video I told you not only you can chat with this chat bot, but you can also create your own custom character for that. All you have to do is to simply click on this Create character button, name anything that you want, and then select any tags for example, male, female books, anything that you want. And after that you can select a type, a public bot or a private bot and then the rating type and then here you have to write about its personality. This personality section is very important because your bot will behave according to this personality and the first message that you will see when you chat with the bot. So I feel some du me data and then at last all you have to do is to simply click on Create button. And here is our character.

Chatting with Your Custom Character

And after that I can simply click on chat with my character to start chatting with him. So this is how you can use janitor ai​. But remember the essence of life lies in embracing genuine human connection, so don’t keep chatting with this. Bots 24 x seven. They don’t have real feelings or emotion.
